The Hotel Mozart was built in 1894 as one of Opatija's first guesthouses, and has remained one of the town's most important properties in terms of tourism up to the present day.
Since 2007 the hotel has been owned by the Shalabi family, who renovated the property, upgrading it to five-star standard.
